Review: Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base

After hearing raves about this product from beauty guru and makeup artists, it seemed like the perfect product to kick start my tan.

I am wearing this over my foundation on my cheeks
and a little on my templ

My conclusion:

I would definately recommend this if you are in the market for a luxury product, but otherwise there are other products that can give you a similiar effect. It's uniqueness is in its texture and formulation, but there are other cheaper powder products that can still help you achieve that effect and color, which at the end of the day, is really all that matters right? You would obviously have to adapt your application techniques of course.
Here is a look at the Chanel Bronzing Base in comparison to other bronzers. You can tell that color wise, it is pretty much a standard, middle of the line bronzer.

A comparison with Houglass Superficial Waterproof Bronzer,
NYC Sunny and Benefit's Hoola bronzers.
It is probably closest in color to the Hourglass bronzer. As
you can see Benefit's Hoola is quite a bit more brown.
